I realize that some people leave their outdoor Christmas lights up year round, but that's not what I'm talking about.  I want to know what you think is TOO early to put up a Christmas tree, and set out your creche and nativity figurines or go into full blown holiday mode INSIDE your house?

Here's my situation, my daughter Kylee was born on December 1.  As she was growing up I wanted to separate the two celebrations so I never put my holiday decorations until after her birthday party which was sometimes held a weekend or two after the first.  That means the decorations were only up for a couple of weeks.  She's an adult now, moved out and doesn't care, so I'm considering putting them up BEFORE December 1.  My husband thinks that's too early, but the other reason is that I would actually have time to do it over the Thanksgiving weekend.  Too early?

I just love the ambiance the Christmas tree lights give in the living room!  Plus, the sooner I have them up, the sooner I can get to work in the kitchen baking!!! So, should I go for it or give in and wait till after December 1?  Anybody already have their Christmas decorations up?
