It's hard to prepare for a natural disaster.  You never know when you'll find yourself in the situation of experiencing inclement weather.  TODAY, there will be a State-wide test to help educate the public on what they'll hear and what to do, if bad weather should hit the Northland.  Remember, today is ONLY A TEST!

Two (2) statewide tornado drills will be conducted today, Thursday April 19th, 2012.At 13:45 PM, the National Weather Service will issue a simulated tornado warning.

Community sirens will be activated at this time. Participating facilities should conduct their tornado drill at ths time. The National Weather Service will issue an "End Of Test" message at 14:00 PM.

At 18:55 PM the National Weather Service will issue a simulated tornado warning. This will allow for a test of family preparedness in the home as well as second shift workers.
