Is Eating A Steak Out Of A Bag Weird? [VIDEO]

It seems that people are split right down the middle on this topic.  Our co-worker Ian was walking down the hall eating something out of a ziploc bag.  I confronted him to see what it was and it turned out to be a hefty sized steak.  He seemed surprised that we hadn't seen this done before.

What Is The Reason More Restaurants Don’t Serve Squash?

I love squash.  There, I said it, some people cringe, some love it with me.  I think squash has been getting shove to the side and I don't understand why.  I've been baking squash and bringing it for lunch because I love it, my husband does not.  However, we are still able to find a happy medium and co-exist.  I'm beginning to feel like squash is treated like liver and onions (which btw, I don't like).  You rarely see that on menus, but squash is easy to make, keep and serve.  Why don't more restaurants serve it?

Is Drinking Pickle Juice Good For You, Might Have Health Benefits

I always heard as a kid that drinking pickle juice was good for you. I always drank the juice when the pickles were gone from our house when I was a kid. It’s claimed to enhance exercise performance, help control blood sugar and more. So, I did that into my adult life. I don't know if it helped me but I thought it did, till someone said, ew, people put their fingers in there to get pickles.

DTA’s Grocery Express Program Expands Service To Include Saturdays

I am fortunate, I am able to drive a car to the grocery store for my groceries.  It wasn't always that easy, I use to live in apartment and while I could drive to the grocery store and home, I had to carry my grocery bags up three flights of stairs, locking and unlocking both my car and apartment door each time.  That STILL was easier than people who have to take a bus to the grocery store and wrestle with their grocery bags going home.  The DTA has a program called Grocery Express that has survived a year of trial and has had such success it's expanding to include Saturdays.

The Largest Appetizers I Have Ever Seen Sent Me Into A Food Coma

In a time where appetizers now cost as much as full entrees and are usually tiny sized, this is worth mentioning.  My wife and I had a rare date night last night, so we decided to go out for a couple of beers and a couple of appetizers.  What started as a "light dinner" idea, soon turned into an evening ending food coma.  But, you could argue it was worth it.
