Here is How I Did at the Celebrity Dance Challenge 2016

As you've heard me talk about on the air, since the new year began I have been practicing 2-3 times each week to be a part of the Minnesota Ballet's 2016 Celebrity Dance Challenge. It's something that is way out of my comfort zone so I thought I should just go for it.

The event was held at the Marshall School last Thursday, February 11. Luckily, I was paired Catherine Wooten, who is fantastic, and we had the amazing Amber Burns as our choreographer. They eased my nerves and made the whole process fun.

Ready or not, we took the stage to dance to "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons" and here's how it went:

When it was all said and done, our dance was awarded "Most Romantic". Ultimately, it was a great experience for me. I think everyone needs to step out of their comfort zone and try something new. I'm glad I did as I got to meet so many cool people during the process.
