If you're Northland travels take you on the Aerial Lift Bridge, be prepared for one lane travel beginning this Thursday, January 25.

The City Of Duluth announced that they are working with Redstone Construction to replace the deck on the Ariel Lift Bridge at a cost of about $296,000.  The project involves replacing 25 feet of the Bridge deck at both ends.

During the replacement, only one driving lane and the adjacent pedestrian walkway on the Bridge will be open.  Also, the sidewalk that passes under the Bridge will be closed to pedestrians and it will not be raised for marine traffic during this project period.

The project is expected to completed around March 2.
