If you won a lot of money, how quickly would you claim that payday so you could get the cash? I know that I'd drop everything and get things rolling as soon as possible so I could get paid.

However, when it comes to lottery winnings, that is not always the case regardless of how much was won. For example, in January the Minnesota Lottery had two winners in their Millionaire Raffle that have yet to claim their $1 million prize.

I'm just guessing here, but it seems the winners bought the tickets, forgot about it, and don't even know they won.

Hopefully, that is not the case with a recent Powerball winner who bought their winning ticket in Duluth. Although it's not a $1 million prize, there is still a significant amount of money that has yet to be claimed.

On Monday, March 4, the Powerball jackpot had grown to an estimated $460 million, and while nobody won the big grand prize someone in the Duluth area did win $50,000, and over one week later that payday has yet to be claimed.

Perhaps it's time for everyone to double-check their tickets. The winning Powerball numbers on March 4 were: 36-42-50-52-67 Powerball 26, and Power Play 2x.

According to the Minnesota Lottery, the $50,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Kenwood Super One Foods store, located at 1316 W. Arrowhead Road. To win $50,000 the winner would've matched 4 out of 5 white numbers while also matching the Powerball number.

Hopefully, the $50,000 winning ticket wasn't lost or put through a washing machine! The winner still has plenty of time to claim their case. Minnesota Powerball winners have one year to claim their winnings before the money is no longer available.
