For those of you who have listened to me at B105 since I started, you heard me talk about my daughter Kylee since she was three years old.  She was four when we started the St. Jude radiothons and even at that young age wanted to volunteer.  This year, as B105 hit two huge milestones with St. Jude totals, Kylee was there to support mom and the kids of St. Jude again!

I wanted to thank Kylee publicly for not only volunteering at the St. Jude radiothon and many, many other station events, but for being such an understanding kid!  Mom has always been busy and she's been a trooper tagging along and helping out where ever and when ever she was needed.  There was countless times we've been stopped at the grocery store or out eating dinner and she waited patiently for me to do what I do best, TALK!

There was only a period of 8 months when I left radio to work at the MDA.  That was the first time that she has had her mom in the morning when getting ready for school.  Otherwise, I have always been on the morning show and had never watched her leave for her first day of school or watched her get on the school bus.  Her first day of kindergarten I had asked if I could broadcast from the end of my driveway to watch her get on the school bus, but that was a no go.

So, to the BEST KID EVER, thank you for being my little girl, my young lady, my bestie!  You are a blessing in many ways to me and everyone's lives you touch.  Love you, peanut!
