UMD Seeking Smokers + Marijuana Users For Research Study
If your New Year's resolution was to quit smoking or you are struggling to quit in general, this may be a great idea for you.
Researchers at University Of Minnesota Medical School on the Duluth Campus are looking for volunteers to take part in their new study. The goal is to figure out why stress can make it harder for smokers to quit.
There are a few qualifications you have to meet in order to take part.
To qualify you must:
- Be a current smoker
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be generally healthy
- Use marijuana regularly
That's right - you must also be a regular marijuana user on top of being a regular cigarette smoker as well.
The study will investigate the link between stress, smoking relapse and marijuana use. Because marijuana is not legal, all of your information will be kept completely confidential.
You will be compensated for your involvement in the study. For more information, call 218-726-8623.
