The Minnesota Twins aren't currently inspiring game attendance with their play on the field, however there are other reasons to visit Target Field.  One such reason is the Midwest Music Showcase, and the 2016 lineup has been announced.

The Midwest Music Showcase is a series of 10 live music events occurring during Wednesday Twins games at Target Field.

This gives Twin Cities bands the opportunity to perform original songs live.  2016 marks the fourth year of the series, and here is the lineup:

  • Astronautalis: 7:10 p.m. April 27 vs. Cleveland Indians
  • Al Church: 12:10 p.m. May 11 vs. Baltimore Orioles
  • Holidae: 12:10 p.m. May 25 vs. Kansas City Royals
  • Sean Anonymous: 7:10 p.m. June 8 vs. Florida Marlins
  • Bad Bad Hats: 7:10 p.m. June 25 vs. Philadelphia Phillies
  • The 4onthefloor: 12:10 p.m. July 6 vs. Oakland A’s
  • Har Mar Superstar: 7:10 p.m. July 27 vs. Atlanta Braves
  • Mark Mallman: 7:10 p.m. Aug. 10 vs. Houston Astros.
  • Koo Koo Kanga Roo: 7:10 p.m. Aug. 24 vs. Detroit Tigers
  • Dem Atlas: 7:10 p.m. Sept. 7 vs. Kansas City Royals

Enjoy good music, good food and hopefully at some point this season, good baseball.
