Local Suggestions To Take Advantage Of Monday’s Bright Sunshine: What Are YOU Going To Do?

Our beautiful Mother's Day week-end weather continues...77 for a high today and LOTS of sunshine!!!  What are YOU going to do?  Here's some ideas:

The first is GOLF!  If you're a fair weather golfer, this is your day.   Then you'll get bit by the golfing bug, so make sure to pick up the Northland Golf Trail Card NOW!  It will make a great Father's Day gift and the card allows golfing at SIX different golf courses.

They are Big Lake in Cloquet, Hidden Greens North in Solon Springs,  Nemadji In Superior, Black Bear in Minong, Lester Park and Poplar Golf course.  Get more details and pick up a card or two [here].

Fire up that grill!  Yum, yum...grill some potatoes and onions in tin foil, add a fresh salad, some fruit and eat outside in the glorious warmth of the sunshine.  Don't forget some strawberry shortcake with squirty cream for dessert!

Dog, kids, roller blades, bike, jog, run, walk.  All of this VERY acceptable while you enjoy your warm weather day next to Lake Superior.  Tourists shouldn't be the only ones enjoying the beauty of Lake Superior or our City's wonderful hillside!

Here's my plans.  After Homie gets down golfing, we're going to grill some meat for dinner, then take the bike to the Lakewalk.  That way I'll cover EVERYTHING I want to do tonight.
