Police have arrested one of the men allegedly responsible for making threats that led to the cancellation the Band Perry’s show in Delaware on Sunday night (July 3). They’ve also identified a second man.

The Delaware News Journal reports that 35-year-old Selbyville, Del., resident Dzmitry N. Papou turned himself in on Monday night (July 4). Delaware State Police charged him with felony terroristic threatening, and in addition to being ordered to make no contact with the Americana Bayside (the venue where the country-pop trio was set to perform), he was released on $20,000 unsecured bail.

The nature of the comments Papou and the other man allegedly made have not been shared with the public, but they were enough to convince the venue and the Band Perry’s management team to postpone their show until August 17. The announcement was made just 15 minutes before the opening act was set to begin. Everyone exited safely, and the trio later explained the decision on Twitter.

To our friends + fans in Delaware — Due to heightened security concerns, and for the safety of our fans, the show has been rescheduled for August 17. While we are sad we don’t get to see you tonight, we love you and consider your wellbeing and security our top priority. We’ll see you soon.

The response from fans was overwhelmingly positive. The Band Perry's next concert is scheduled for Tuesday night (July 5) in Lewiston, N.Y.
