Here's a heads up on another road construction project that may have you altering your route if you travel in that direction.  You have plenty of time to find a different way to work or school because they won't start till next Tuesday, May 12.

The continued maurices construction will cause some temporary street closures in downtown Duluth that you should be aware of.  This closure will allow for the placement of a crane.

For those of you who frequent the downtown Duluth area, there is a closure of a major thoroughfare starting this Saturday that you should be aware of to avoid frustration when you travel.

The demolition of the Duluth News Tribune warehouse at 408 West First Street will cause a temporary road closure in downtown Duluth that you should be aware of.  This closure will allow for the continued construction of the new maurices headquarters.

A main artery just outside of Duluth remains closed until road crews can repair the road after the massive flooding last week.

We've just received word from the Minnesota Department Of Transportation that I-35, just south of Duluth will close temporarily for emergency road repairs on Tuesday, June 26, from 5:30 a.m. to approximately 8:30 a.m.

Although we saw some sunshine today in the Northland, that doesn't take away from the fact that there are still those suffering from the storms and flooding this week.  The evacuations today of areas like Moose Lake attest to that.  Our media partners at Northlands News Center are reporting flood related road closures.
