Josh Thompson is no stranger to the outdoor lifestyle. The singer spent much time in the woods while growing up in Wisconsin, especially when he spent months involved in a wilderness guide course, where he lived with a small group of students deep in the woods, using what little resources they had around them to survive.
Josh Thompson always jokes that he still lives on “concrete hours,” seeing how he wakes up in the wee hours of the morning no matter what time he goes to bed the night before — just like he used to when he poured concrete for a living back in the day.
Change is coming for Josh Thompson, and that’s not just in reference to his new tour. The singer is gearing up for the release of his sophomore album ‘Change,’ which is slated to hit stores later this year. Fans have already gotten their first taste of the new album with the release of Thompson’s latest single ‘Comin’ Around,’ which is one of 12 tracks on the record which he wrote or co-wrote.
Justin Moore‘s voice can be heard on the forthcoming Josh Thompson album, featured on the tune ‘Livin’ Like Hank,’ which hopefully will be something fans will get a preview of this summer when the two hit the road on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour.
The second volume of "The Music Inside: A Collaboration Dedicated To Waylon Jennings Volume II is set to hit shelves on Feb. 7th. There's a lot of country stars singing on the album, and there's even a way to get it early, on January 24th.
