I'm sure people who don't read this blog will wonder if the city of Duluth neglected to pay their light bill when the Aerial Lift Bridge's lights go dark on Saturday.  Truth of the matter is there's a very good reason for it and the community will be joining millions around the world!

If you've never stopped to appreciate the beauty of our gorgeous bridge landmarks, you should.  Not just the Aerial Lift Bridge, but the Richard I. Bong too.  Not only during the day, but all lit up at night, it's beautiful and I'm sure a delight for our tourists.  However, to go globally green, we need to turn the lights off and that's exactly what will happen during Earth Hour.  Here's a definit
