Although thieves are targeting construction sites, if you are doing any type of home improvements that require you to keep construction materials outside you should be aware that the Duluth Police Department have recognized a crime pattern that has developed in various locations throughout the city in recent weeks and offer some tips.

If you're heading to Duluth from Superior on the Blatnik tonight you'll be able to use both lanes.  The right lane will reopen at approximately 6:00 PM.  But take note, you may experience temporary lane closures next week.

The seemingly endless $13 million project is wrapping up, and Tower Avenue in Superior is ready to open once again.

Work is progressing on the massive renovation of Tower Avenue in downtown Superior.   Sewer work continues, sidewalk concrete is being poured, and groundwork for landscaping has begun.

After the flooding in the Northland last year, Highway 210 in Carlton County suffered a lot of damage.  The repairs have officially begun. KBJR-TV reports that MNDOT officials say the $2.9 million project will realign and reconstruct half a mile of highway along 210 through Jay Cooke State Park...

Downtown employees can stop leaving early for work because they have to search for a parking spot.  Shoppers will have the parking ramp back just in time for holiday shopping.  Construction is done and the concrete is not only repaired, but cleaned too.

Good news for travelers from the Northland to the Twin Cities and vice versa, as another project appears to have been completed.

A travel update regarding work being done on the Blatnik Bridge.  Travelers have been only able to travel from Duluth to Superior on the south bound lanes, but soon there will be a switch as those lanes close and the north bound lanes open.

The exciting construction continues to progress at the Duluth International Airport.  Starting today, you will go to a different location to drop off  or pick up passengers, catch the bus or a taxi, or pick up a rental car.
