Cathy Kates of the B105 Breakfast Club is always one for new adventures. Her latest journey has her heading to Downtown Duluth to get pole dancing lessons.

Imagine our surprise when we found this june bug on it's back on our studio desk.  I came to the rescue of Cathy, and trapped the bug in her tupperware container.

A few years ago, Jimmy Wayne did a walk with B105 and a group of people to bring awareness about teen homelessness.  We posed for a picture with Jimmy Wayne.  It was David Drew, myself, and Cathy Kates.  However someone covered up Cathy in the picture.  I forgot Cathy was even there!  It was a good laugh when she brought it up this morning.

I have been doing some searching to find out what each of us on B105 did before you knew us as the Radio entertainers that we are. I will start with Cathy Kates.

This morning I debuted the song I wrote for Cathy and Wrenshall.  She talks about Wrenshall all the time, and that's basically the inspiration of the song.  It's part of B105's Our Town this week, which we highlighted Wrenshall.

The Hodag Country Festival kicks into high gear on July 12th and that weekend is full of great talent, including Eric Church on Saturday, July 14th!  Tonight (Wednesday June 27)  Players Sports Bar, located at 4024 Grand Avenue in Duluth, is having Cathy Kates host a party to give away tickets!

t's been an ongoing thing here in the office.  With Cathy's different hairstyles, she can easily change who she looks like.  (Facial expressions help too.)  Last week I walked in the office and saw her hair was jet black!  Not the usual dark red or mahogoney colored...

As part of her hair transformation with Shear Katz, she had some head shots done to show her before and after pictures.  As soon as I saw one of her pictures, I realized she has done what few people can do.  She perfected the Zoolander "Blue Steel" face.  If you haven't seen the movie, it's Ben Stiller's signature money pose.   Love the hair Kates!  You look great!

Cathy and I were having a good time on air today, and we were talking about going somewhere disguised.  I told her she could go as Ralph Macchio, the original karate kid.  After the initial shock, she agrees that she does look somewhat similar to Ralph in his younger days...

I've had an iPhone now for 3 years, and I don't think I could live without it. It is a tool for me that helps me get everything done. My co-host just got an iPhone, and is unsure whether she likes it or not. Maybe it's because she doesn't know what is capable of...

Ken and I have been "elf'ed"!!!  What a fun way to send some holiday laughs to your family and friends.  Or "elf" them and you can laugh at THEIR expense.  That's what I did to Ken, LOL!!!  Here's the whole video and the link so  you can "get elf'ed"...
