Animal Allies

We talked to Anna this morning from Animal Allies and she introduced us to Freckles, a Siberian Husky - pitbull mix.  He's an outgoing, friendly dog that's looking for a good home!

Percival is a kitten that's only 11 weeks old!  He came in with his mom and his sisters and is looking for a family!

Tomorrow is "Give To The Max" Day at Animal Allies.  Donations from the community is what allows Animal Allies to do the great things they do, like reach their zero euthanasia goal for healthy cats and dogs!  Watch this video they put together to learn more!

Animal Allies will have cats and dogs available for adopting at Miller Hill Subaru this Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm.  There will be no fee cat & kitten adoptions, $125 dog adoptions, Holiday Pet Photos by Duluth Camera Exchange, and free micro-chipping with a donation to the Animal Allies wish list.

This week again we talked to Sarah from Animal Allies about what is going on at the shelters in Duluth and Superior, including a special adoption event this weekend at the Miller Hill Subaru.  She also brought up our pet of the week Frappe.  She's a lovable friendly, energetic, older Labrador retriever.

Earlier this week it was discovered that a Central Hillside home in Duluth had over 60 cats that were taken away by authorities.   Animal Allies is asking for your help:

Pandora is a cute and lovable cat that we talked about this morning on the Breakfast Club.  Anna, lead adoption counselor, described Pandora as a very friendly cat.  And now, with the "9 lives 9 dollars' promotion, Pandora's fee is only 9 bucks!

This story has a little bit of a personal touch, because I've met this wonderful dog, Koko.  The story starts late last week where my Dad had agreed to watch a stray dog that had been found by one of his co-workers.  The co-worker one day opened her back door and found Koko (a yorkie) cold and shaking, pawing at the door...

Sarah from Animal Allies today told us some great things about Ripley, a golden retriever lab mix.  Ripley is this weeks featured animal as part of October being "Adopt A Dog Month."  All dog adoption fees at Animal Allies have been reduced by $25.  Here's a little info on Ripley:
