The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 6 ‘Hounded’ Review

Last night things picked back up again in The Walking Dead.  After episode 4 where all the crazy, heart pounding, gut wrenching action took place, episode 5 seemed a little slow and dragged a bit.  You have to expect that, because you can't have an episode 4 every week if you know what I mean.  Still Ep. 6 "Hounded" gave us enough to chew on and then some until next Sunday.  Let's start with good ol' Merle.

‘The Walking Dead’ “Hounded” Pics: Is A Certain Someone Still Alive?

While AMC's 'The Walking Dead' has certainly never been light on casualties, recent episode "Killer Within" took quite a toll on Rick Grimes' group of survivors, seemingly shuffling off the mortal coils of Rick's wife Lori, fan-favorite T-Dog, and the scrappy Carol.  However, might there be a bit of hope on the horizon?  Of the three survivors believed to been killed in the episode, only one's body was ever fully recovered!  The latest photos from this Sunday's "Hounded" might just crack the case!

‘The Walking Dead’ “Hounded” Clip: Who’s Getting Some Post-Apocalyptic Nookie?

For all the gloom and doom of the recent 'Walking Dead' episodes, full of heartbreaking character deaths, isn't about time someone found a bit of happiness?  Even if that happiness might be soul-shatteringly awkward for fans of the comic book series?  Looks like we're about to find out, as a new clip from the next all-new 'The Walking Dead' episode "Hounded" confirms a long-hinted romance, but is their any way the new coupling won't end in disaster?

Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 5 “Say The Word” Review

This Governor guy just keeps getting weirder, doesn't he?  He did say last episode about how his wife was killed in a car accident before the end of the world started, and now it was just him and his daughter.  What he didn't tell us was his daughter is a walker.  Gross!

‘The Walking Dead’s Latest Promo: Rick and Michonne Go On A Rampage

To those of you snickering 'Archer' jokes at that headline, we salute you.  But nonetheless, Rick Grimes has quite a bit to rampgage about after the shocking, and heartbreaking episode of 'The Walking Dead' that capped off this Sunday, the extra-visceral "Killer Within."  Rick didn't seems to be doing to well by episode's end, so how will he deal with his emotions in next week's "Say the Word?"  And what sinister threat has Michonne discovered in the latest clip?

Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 4 “Killer Within” Review

Usually you'll get my recap and review of The Walking Dead Monday mornings, and this week I am a day late.  I was out of town and had to DVR the show, which I then watched last night.   It's been 12 hours since I saw the episode, and I can honestly say that I am still uncomfortable about it.  Warning, shocking spoilers ahead if you aren't caught up.

The Walking Dead “Walk With Me” Review

Last night The Walking Dead did something pretty unconventional in a TV series.  They completely left the main ensemble out of the episode and focused on the Woodbury community and introducing us to new characters, like the fascinating Govenor.  Guess what?  It totally worked.  It was a slower paced episode, heavy on the dialogue, but nonetheless very entertaining.

The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 2 “Sick” Recap

The momentum continued from the first episode of season 3, picking up right where we left off.  They cart lefty (Hershel) back to their cell block and the new prisoners follow them back.  Right off the bat there was tension between dirt bag Tomas (the prison leader) and Rick.

Why Didn’t HBO or NBC Want ‘The Walking Dead’?

In the past, we've heard about networks passing up some great dramas now and again, like when 'Breaking Bad' almost went to FX, before landing on AMC as the Emmy-winning bad-ass drama we all know it to be. But did you know that before AMC scored even bigger with Robert Kirkman's 'The Walking Dead,' HBO and NBC were in the market for the zombie-thriller as well? What made them pass on something that's become such a cultural phenomeon?

The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere Review

Last night was a long time coming.  Not only because we were waiting for season 3 to start, but we were waiting for season 3 to be good.  Everyone talks about how pacing became and issue in season 2, so I was a little worried that we wouldn't see the group get into the prison until mid season.  What a refresher that they are already inside by the end of the episode.

The Walking Dead Season 3 Premiere Is Less Than Two Weeks Away [VIDEO]

I can't help but be pretty excited to have my Sunday night fix back on TV.  "The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Sunday Oct. 14th.  If you've missed season 2 and are a Netflix subscriber, the full season 2 is available to watch.  You may want a refresher anyway.  (Plus you can skip over a few of the slow paced boring farm episodes.)

Everybody Panic, AMC Is Getting Its Own Version of ‘American Idol’

For all its massive success in recent years, AMC is still somewhat in its infancy when it comes to original programming. And for every runaway hit like 'Breaking Bad,' 'Mad Men' and 'The Walking Dead,' there's a few missteps like 'The Killing,' or even recent forays into reality TV with unique efforts like 'Small Town Security.' But if you're going to emulate the major networks, might as well go for the big guns, right?  So let's see if 'Road Show,' AMC's first reality competiton can bring the heat!
