Superior Police Ask For Help In Armed Robbery

Every robbery is a shock to the community, but this one was particularly shocking because it happened during the middle of the day in broad day light. Superior Police are asking for the public's help to solve this crime.

The armed robbery happened on Wednesday at 11:15a at Champions Lounge on Belknap street in Superior and that has Superior Police searching for the suspect.

According to a release from police, the suspect got into the building by entering through a back door and taking one of the business owners who was there by surprise. He approached the bar and pointed a small handgun at the owner demanding money.

The owner handed the cash over and the suspect fled. He is described as a white male with dark hair, in his mid to late 30's, and approximately 6 feet tall. They are currently reviewing video surveillance and hope to develop more leads, but are asking for your help.
