Scotty McCreery is among the artists who will be performing at the 2017 National Memorial Day Concert. The annual event airs on PBS.

Now in its 28th year, the National Memorial Day Concert is a tribute to the men and women who have served the United States through military service. Laurence Fishburne from Black-ish and Joe Mantegna from Criminal Minds will co-host the 2017 show, which will take place on May 28 on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. In addition to McCreery, the event's performance lineup includes Renée Fleming, Vanessa Williams, Five for Fighting, John Ortiz, Christopher Jackson, Ana Ortiz, Ronan Tynan, Russell Watson and the National Symphony Orchestra with Auli’i Cravalho.

In addition to the host of special performances, the 2017 National Memorial Day Concert will also feature a 70th anniversary celebration of the U.S. Air Force's Tuskegee Airmen; a segment honoring Captain Luis Avila, who was severely injured in an IED blast and continues to recover through music therapy; and more. Because 2017 is the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid, a bombing mission over Tokyo during World War II, there will also be a special moment to honor the Doolittle Raiders, specifically the group's final surviving member, Lt. Col. Dick Cole.

Fans who cannot make it to the Capitol's West Lawn can watch the 2017 National Memorial Day Concert live on PBS at 8PM ET. The show will also be streamed via Facebook Live and PBS.org.

McCreery has a handful of upcoming shows on his calendar. Visit his official website for more information.
