“Run Like An Animal” 5K Run / Walk Is Saturday at Lake Superior Zoo
This weekend brings another fun 5k to the Lake Superior Zoo. “Run Like an Animal” is a unique 5k running/walking event that appeals to everyone from serious trail runners to families. Animal costumes are encouraged, but not required.
Afterwards, everyone is invited to “Party Like an Animal” with live music on the Tiger Deck by the band Crescent Moon, free entertainment, zoo animals and more!
Registration is $30 in advance and $35 the day of the race. You can download the race form right now at LSZooDuluth.org.
All registrants will receive:
- An exclusive Lake Superior Zoo “Run Like an Animal” t-shirt
- Runner/walker goodie bag
- Admission to the zoo for “Party Like an Animal”, held immediately following the race
Medals and a free 2015 Run Like an Animal registration will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for both men and women runners and walkers. Cash awards of $100, $75 and $50, courtesy of our sponsor Coca-Cola and a free 2015 Run Like an Animal registration will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the costume contest

Registration/Race Pack Pick-up 7:00 am – 8:00 am
Run Starts 8:30 am
Walk Starts 8:35 am
Awards and Costume Contest 9:45 am
“Party Like an Animal” 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join an estimated four hundred runners and walkers on Saturday. Proceeds from the event will support the Lake Superior Zoo.
