By now you know, there is a holiday romcom that filmed in Duluth earlier this year! It is called Rescuing Christmas. So far, the reception to the movie has been great and of course, it's already a classic to us in Minnesota!

The movie filmed in and around the area in early May at places like the Duluth Depot and Bayfront Festival Park. At one point, there was even a casting call for locals to take part in a series of scenes at Bayfront meant to look like a holiday market.

Now, the movie is complete and officially out now on Hallmark's exclusive streaming service called Hallmark Movies Now. You can still watch without forking over the money for the streaming service, though. The site offers a free weeklong trial and the movie will be out on Hallmark in the near future.

The movie was released on Thursday (December 7th) and it looks like we aren't the only ones excited. The star of the film, Rachael Leigh Cook, shared a series of photos from the film along with a heartwarming caption about it.

She didn't end there! She shared even more photos in a second post. You can tell she is really proud of this movie and all that it encompasses. She's been in a ton of hit shows and movies over the years and also happens to be a Minnesota native.

The movie follows a woman named Erin, played by Cook, who wishes that Christmas never existed. She wakes up in a world where her wish comes true and I will leave it at that to avoid any spoilers. Of course, there is also a romance because this is a Hallmark movie after all!

The film also stars Sam Page from Grey's Anatomy, who also happens to be a Wisconsin native. Bailey Stender, an actress from Duluth, is also in the movie. I can't wait to watch it! Have you seen it? Let me know what you think.
