If you've been driving along Belknap Street this week, you've likely noticed the detour signs in some areas.   This is because a stretch of 12th Street and Poplar Avenue is closing for the major stormwater project taking place. 

The project is to address current and anticipated runoff issues in the central business district in Superior.  The timeline of the project has the traffic control and erosion control taking place Monday and Tuesday.  Beginning on April 27th, pavement will be ripped up.

The project will create a large stormwater basin and additional drain lines in the area.  You can read more about the project below.
