Last night I finally got to see Guardians of the Galaxy.  It was an awesome movie, but different than I expected.  I enjoyed it, but it definitely had a different feel that was actually refreshing.

The movie has much more humor than the other Marvel Super Hero movies.  It was a fine line between super hero movie and parody of the Marvel franchise.  "Rocket" voiced by Bradley Cooper has some of the best sarcastic lines in the movie, and there were a lot of genuine laughs in the audience the whole movie.

I honestly had never heard of any of these characters before this movie came out, so it was really a first time I'd experienced any of this storyline.   It was a solid plot, action packed, and enjoyable to watch.   There's also some scenes that go against the typical super hero movie cliche, which is also a bonus.

I'd recommend this movie to anyone, even though I'm sure everyone else has already seen it before me because I don't have anytime in my life to do these things until it's already been out for several months because my kids, family, chores, job, and everything else prevent me from seeing movies.  (Run-on sentence?)

So yeah, great flick!
