Chippewa Tribal members thought that since wolf hunting was allowed at night, the same laws should be applied to deer as well.  A Federal Judge disagrees.

The Northland's NewsCenter is reporting that a Federal Judge ruled the state of Wisconsin may enforce state shining laws that forbid night time deer hunting against everyone including Chippewa Tribal members.

This ruling will stop night time deer hunting within the Ceded Territory at least until a Federal hearing on Dec. 12
