My Country Throwback Today Goes Back to 2001 [VIDEO]

Today marks another anniversary of a day I wish had never happened, but one that nobody should ever forget.  In honor of September 11, 2001, my Country Throwback this week features Alan Jackson and the night he put an unthinkable horror to music.

The nation was still reeling from the 9/11 attacks when, on November 7th, Alan Jackson took the stage at the CMA Awards and delivered a song that brought everyone to a tearful standing ovation.
