MN Super Bowl Host Committee Awarding Grant To Fon Du Lac Band Of Chippewa

The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee Legacy Fund is donating a grant to the Fon Du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.   The funds will be used to help fund three projects in the community.  They are celebrating the donation with an open to the public event on October 17th at the Cloquet Community Center.

The projects that will benefit from this grant money include an expansion of a walking path for the Tribal Community Center, upgrades to community gardens, and the renovation of an outdoor ice rink.

There will be a brief segment of speeches, followed by football skills and activity drills for kids.

The event takes place at the Cloquet Community Center, 1720 Big Lake Road, Cloquet MN 55720, starting at 1pm.
