The Minnesota Vikings used the first day of NFL free agency to add more talent to their defensive line.  Just days after signing defensive end Everson Griffen to a new deal, they now have a new defensive tackle.

ESPN.com is reporting that former New York Giant Linval Joseph agreed to join the Vikings with a five-year contract worth $31.5 million.  Joseph is only 25 years old and has been very productive and durable so far in his career.  It fits the Vikings strategy of adding players as they hit their prime.

They can now look to other positions as it appears the defensive line is set with Linval Joseph, defensive ends Brian Robison and Everson Griffen and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd.
