I've been busy trying to keep you in the know on the construction projects going on in the Northland.  Whew, sometimes it's hard to keep up.  With this blog I get the honors to tell you life will get a bit easier with the reopening of Michigan Street.

Today is the day that people who work or frequent downtown Duluth have been waiting for.   According to a press release from the City of Duluth Public Works and Utilities department, Michigan Street in downtown Duluth will fully reopen to traffic today by 4:00 PM.

In a previous blog I shared that Michigan Street, between 2nd and 3rd Ave West, would be closed for continued construction of the new Duluth Transportation Center.  Now, new traffic signals are in place at the corner of 3rd Ave West and West Michigan Street.

Please note that access to 3rd Ave West from the frontage road is not yet available. And a reminder, the parking facility in the Duluth Transit Center is open for use.
