“Lake Superior Day” Will Celebrate Lake Superior with Fun For Families at Barkers Island in Superior July 19th

Next Sunday there will be a celebration of Lake Superior at Barkers Island Festival Park in Superior, Wisconsin.  There will be live music, kid's activities, a blessing of the fleet, and more.

The event is being organized by the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve of UWS, and it's goal is to celebrate the "largest, cleanest, coldest, and clearest of the Great Lakes."

Food vendors will also be serving from 11:30am to 3:30pm.   Live music takes the stage starting at 12:15, and the blessing of the fleet begins at 1:15.  There will also be a tent with activities set up for kids.
