It may be the holiday season, and while that means there is a lot of holiday cheer throughout the community, it also appears we have at least one Grinch.

This Grinch crept into somebody's yard in the middle of the night and took something that did not belong to them. They didn't realize that there was a camera that captured some images and hopefully, those images get them caught.

Breanna Leppanen shared the story and the photos on Tuesday, November 28, on the Residents of Proctor, MN Facebook page.

According to her post:

Around 3:30am Saturday 11/25/23 this guy walked through our backyard and helped himself to a dirt bike that was in our driveway. If anyone recognizes him or has seen the dirt bike around we would appreciate any information that might help get our property returned!

Breanna shared a few images that may help catch whoever stole the dirt bike. The first photo shows the individual approaching. There was a Facebook comment that speculated they may live nearby as they were wearing shorts on what was a cold night. However, shorts and a jacket are fairly standard issue in the Northland this time of year.

Although dark and grainy, the next photo does show that whoever did this was wearing a jacket with a hood.

The last shared photo shows what the stolen dirt bike looks like. If nobody recognizes the thief from the pictures, perhaps someone will notice the dirt bike in the thief's possession or around town.

As is always the case when things like this occur, even if you have no idea who this is or have any information to share, it still helps to share this on social media. The more people who see this, the better chance there is to catch whoever is responsible.
