Ken and I just had a conversation about trust with you on-air this week.  I admitted that I have lost the trust I once had in people and it's due to incidents like this.

Most parents still want to teach their children that police officers are people they can trust, and that they should go to them when they need help.  Most still are, but when things like this happen you start to wonder if you're telling them correct information.

This time the warning comes from the Fon du Lac Police Department.  According to WDIO.com, they want the public to be on alert after they received a report of someone impersonating an officer.

It happened last night.  Officers say a black Chevrolet Impala with a police-style spotlight and red and blue lights by the rear view mirror stopped someone on the Fond du Lac Reservation.  Apparently, this is the only time it has happened thus far, but they want you to be aware and alert if you should be pulled over.

Also, they are looking for your help in the incident.  If you have any information to share, please call 911.
