The One Book Northland featured event, “The Olympic Experience,” will be held on Thursday, April 7 at 7:00 pm at the Spirit of the North Theater in the Fitgers Brewery Complex (600 E. Superior St.). Former Duluthian David Krmpotich returns to share his Olympic experience and how it relates to that of the young men featured in this year’s One Book title, The Boys in the Boat. Krmpotich won a silver medal in rowing at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea. One of the oldest Olympic sports, rowing became part of the summer games in 1900. This featured event will begin with appetizers and a cash bar at 6:30 pm, followed by the free program at 7:00
