Duluthians have all heard about the local egg farm that nearly won an ad during the Super Bowl. Lucie Amundsen from Locally Laid will talk about her farm and her new book at a free program on Thursday, April 14 at 6 pm in the Duluth Public Library Green Room (520 W. Superior St.). See behind the scenes of this sassy start-up to the difficulties of being a mid-size farm. Lucie will make people think and laugh about all things poultry and America’s food system in her presentation “Locally Laid: An ag policy, romance, farm start-up horror show.”
