If you live in the Upper Lakeside neighborhood and are at work, this probably won't affect you until later in the day.  Those that are home or getting ready to head out, you should be aware that the City of Duluth is asking that you conserve water, here's why.

They determined an issue in the area of 40th Avenue East and Superior Street up to Crosley and are now working to repair a 12 inch water main break. Residents in the affected area are requested to conserve water and refrain from using appliances that require significant amounts of water, such as washing machines or dishwashers. They expect the repairs to take about 8 hours.

As always, the City thanks the public for their cooperation and patience.
