It's an exciting time for the City of Duluth!  The construction on the new $30 million dollar Duluth Transit Authority Multimodal Transportation Center is completed and you are invited to the Grand Opening today! 

The project has been a long time coming, they began on it way back in June of 2014.  Recently, they thought they may have to delay the grand opening because of several thousands of dollars damage to the new facility due to vandalism.  But, they caught the individual responsible and worked hard to get everything cleaned and repaired for today's history making grand opening.

You are invited to the free Grand Opening ribbon-cutting ceremony and Open House for the newly constructed Duluth Transportation Center (DTC) starting at 10:00 a.m. The DTA will be hosting the event at 228 West Michigan Street with light refreshments served from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There will also be informational tables for DTA partner organizations like Jefferson Lines, Arrowhead Transit, the Duluth Police Department, Greater Downtown Council (GDC), Metropolitan Interstate Council (MIC), the Duluth Bike Coalition, and Northern Lights Express (NLX).
