Essentia Health and KKCB 105.1 [B105] & KBMX 107.7 [MIX 108] have a big reason to celebrate: they just wrapped the first season of their brand new podcast. The Real Talk On Women's Health Podcast with Essentia Health kicked off earlier this year!

I am the host and throughout the course of season one, I had the chance to sit down with some of the most incredible doctors in the Northland! From OBGYNs to pediatricians to bariatric surgeons, every guest brought something incredible to the table.

The first season of the podcast features twelve episodes, including a bonus episode all about the new birthplace at the beautiful St. Mary's Medical Center in downtown Duluth. The episodes focus on the biggest questions women have when it comes to their health.

From the obvious questions we have, like those about childbirth and menopause, to the ones we find embarrassing, we cover it all on the Real Talk On Women's Health podcast with Essentia Health.

We like to think of the podcast as a safe place where no question is considered embarrassing. This is a place where we can be open and real about the things we deal with as women. Even those that may not deal with a particular health issue can take something from each episode.

Another cool thing about this podcast is that it is centered around you - the listener! From the start, we've asked you to send questions our way so we can answer your questions with our guests. We got a ton of amazing questions and want to continue to hear from you so submit any health-related questions you may have. It's all anonymous!

Creating the first season of The Real Talk On Women's Health podcast was such an incredible experience. We aired new episodes every two weeks and I learned so much from each guest. I even got answers to some of my own health-related questions!
