Duluth Group Voices Support Of Raising Minimum Wage [VIDEO]

From NorthLandsNewsCenter.com

Currently the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, but many groups around the country believe it is time to raise that amount.  More than 30 events took place across the country to voice support of raising the minimum wage, including one in Duluth.

Our partners at The Northland’s News Center reported that Take Action Minnesota helped organize a rally outside of U.S. Representative Chip Cravaack’s office, asking for his help.  Speakers presented what they believe are the benefits to having a higher minimum wage, including more jobs for the 99 percent.

Do you think it is time to raise the minimum wage?
