Dishwashers: Not Just For Dishes Anymore, Enter The Toothbrush.
Yesterday, I was ridiculed for admitting on B105 that I cleanse my toothbrush in the dishwasher! What’s wrong with that? You wash silverware in a dishwasher and that goes in your mouth. Not to shock you further, but I also wash the toothbrush holder in the dishwasher. What better way to kill germs, especially after a bout with strep throat, the flu, or a cold.
Here’s my thought process: Dishwashers use scalding hot water, you can consider your toothbrush sterilized! My co-host thinks I’m nuts (although he admitted to brushing his teeth while in the shower. WHAT??? Now THAT’s nuts! So, I want to know, am I alone? Not according to my Facebook friends! Come on……are you with me, comment below.
