Country Throwback Honors Ricky Van Shelton in Hopes of Getting the Minnesota Wild Back On Track [VIDEO]

The Minnesota Wild had gone up 2-1 in the series against the St. Louis Blues Monday and the Twin Cities media was already calling the series a mismatch and were planning on the Wild moving on.  Then the stink bomb that was game 4 happened and suddenly the Wild appeared to be at the wrong end of that mismatch.  Hey, it's only one game, but I thought I better do something wild for my Country Throwback this week.

Ricky Van Shelton released his "Wild Man" single in 1992 and it would be his last top 10 hit.  It would spend a total of 20 weeks on the country singles chart, peaking at number 5.

Let's revisit the song and hope for a dramatic turnaround for the Minnesota Wild in game 5.
