Country Throwback Goes Back 15 Years to Run with Darryl Worley [VIDEO]

With the 39th Annual Grandma's Marathon and the 25 Annual Gary Bjorklund Half Marathon up on us I thought it only fitting that my Country Throwback should focus on running.

There are a lot of choices such as "The Race Is On" or George Strait's "Run", but I thought I'd revisit a top 20 hit for Darryl Worley.

"A Good Day To Run" was released by in 2000, off his 'Hard Rain Don't Last' album.  Not only does Darryl do a great job singing the tune, but he also co-wrote the song.
