Cole Swindell may be a hit with the ladies, but he's still waiting for the right one!

The 'Chillin' It' singer admits that while it might take awhile to find the perfect girl, he's okay with waiting. Swindell's perfect match "is going to have to be somebody that understands what I do, which is hard. I don't know that I could do that," he shares with the Country Vibe. "That's gotta be tough, but I think it's gonna have to be somebody that understands what I do and loves me for me."

Swindell adds that whenever he finds that right woman, she'll also have to be patient while he figures out the romantic side of relationships. The rising star says that he's been single for so long that he's not used to thinking of someone else when making decisions about his life or how he spends his time. But even though the only romantic gestures he's made lately have been for himself, he still thinks (and writes) about how to woo the ladies!

"Being single, I don't have to be very romantic," Swindell explains. "But I think that stuff's important and it's funny because a lot of my songs do speak to the girls."

He adds, "I try to think of maybe what guys like me would say and how they would do things, but being single for so long, I think I might have to call for some help to give me some advice!"

Swindell may not know how to be a romantic boyfriend yet, but he says he's always ready and willing to learn: "I just want to be known as a good guy, so obviously if I'm in a relationship I would work toward that to get better."

For now, though, he just wants to enjoy his rising career and doesn't seem too worried about when the right girl might come along. “The good thing is I’ve worked so hard for this and I haven’t let anything get in the way yet, so I’m focused on my career," says the singer. "I know all that other stuff will come when it’s supposed to.”

With so much going on, it's a good thing the sizzling star is patient about finding his true love! Swindell's self-titled debut album landed at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart, and he's got a current spot on tour with Luke Bryan through the end of October -- clearly, he has enough to keep him busy without having to think about a girlfriend!
