Confidence, quick decision making and the "love of the game" is what the City of Duluth Parks and Rec Department is looking for.  They are in need of additional umpires for this softball season and YOU might just be the right person for the job!

I know it's sounds crazy to be thinking about being out on the softball field when there's 9 inches of snow on it, but regardless, the 2014 adult slow pitch softball season is right around the corner with games being held at the Wheeler Fields. If making $25 per one hour game, sounds good to you, then you should check this out!

All interested new and returning umpires must attend the USSA softball clinic which will be held this Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 a.m. at the Buffalo House, 2590 Guss Road (exit 245 off I-35).

The cost for the clinic and the USSA registration fee is $70 payable the day of the clinic.

If you can't make that date, there is a make up date that will be held on Thursday, April 10 at Wheeler Field from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  NOTE:  If you're a NEW umpire, you are required to attend both workshops.
