It won't be forever, just for now.  Dog owners that utilize the City Dog Park should be aware that it is closed.  You don't want your beast to get all muddy and climb back in your car, do you?  Here's the details:

The City of Duluth Parks and Recreation Department announced today that the Keene Creek Dog Park is temporarily closed. Due to the annual spring thaw the dog park has become muddy and is now vulnerable to being damaged.  The public can help prevent damage to the Dog Park by not using the park until warmer temperatures and drier weather improve conditions. A notice regarding the reopening of the Dog Park will be provided as soon as conditions permit.

Please be reminded that in the city of Duluth, dogs must be on a leash at all times per city code.

For more information please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 730-4300.
