2 weeks ago Last night Kellie Pickler danced stunningly and nearly perfect once again, doing the Viennese Waltz, and later the Paso Doble. Everyone loved both dances, except for Len who puzzled everyone with his low score of 7 on the Doble. I have my own theories. Watch the videos and see for yourself.
2 weeks ago Last week I finally caught the National Geographic series "Brain Games" on TV. I think I have a pretty strong brain, so I thought I'd be up for the challenges that they show you. I'll admit, I was stumped quite a bit, or rather tricked. That's what the show is about, exploiting the weaknesses of your brain, but also helping you to train your brain.

She had 3 shows and actually had her dancing partner Derek Hough travel with her so they could practice. Even with the hectic schedule, she was able to pull of a near perfect "Samba" last night, earning her immunity.

I was awestruck, as Kellie is my celebrity crush, but I was able to pull it together with the help of Cathy and find out some really interesting stuff. For example, Kellie will be in MN tomorrow and dancing partner Derek Hough will be traveling with her so they can rehearse!
When 20th Century Fox was founded in 1935 (the combination of Fox Films Corporation and Twentieth Century Pictures) it's possible that the founders of the company may have joked that their name could become obsolete in sixty five years, but it seems unlikely they were thinking that far ahead. Now -- seventy-eight years later -- the company's name has been changed to reflect the times and updated to 21st Century Fox for everything but the movie side of their business.
