After years of complaining from people who didn’t have or couldn’t afford cable (or whose parents refused to give them their HBO Go password), HBO is finally delivering a standalone streaming service, HBO Now. Today, the company announced some of its availability details, including pricing and when and where it will be available.

Yes, this is morbid, but I just saw it today when I was looking in my settings.  I often check my security settings on my own Facebook to see where I'm logged in.  Today a new section was there, called Legacy Contact.  It's where you can specify who can control your account if something happens to you, (like you're dead.)

Smartphone use is disgustingly taking over our lives.  As families, we sit on the couch staring at the phone in our lap, instead of conversing with each other.  When you crawl into bed at night, often your companion is your smartphone.  Not only can it take a toll on your relationships, but also your health!
