Halloween can be a very stressful time on your pet, even if they are the easy going sociable type. All the noises outside, strangers continually at the door, and extra excitement going on inside the house too.

Our cat is a source of constant amusement or frustration, depending on what kind of mood you're in.  One thing she's never done is drink out of her water dish.  She's drank out of the toilet since day one.   I got sick of paw prints on the seat, so we've been keeping the toilet lid down.  Now she does this, which I guess is better.

Daryl talked about a cat this morning. Animal Allies PR guy brought up the fact that Queenie, aptly named, will probably take over your household. She is a loyal cat, as he points out, but likes to rule the roost.

I barely get a break once I get home from work.  My Schnauzer Bauer wants to play constantly.  But, I noticed that whenever a dog (or any animal for that matter) comes on TV, he immediately drops what he's doing and is engaged.  The light bulb went off in my head and off to the store we went to buy a copy of the Homeward Bound movie!  Did it work?

Sad news arrived at the end of the week from the Superior Police Department and the Northland K-9 Foundation regarding an amazing, decorated former member of their department.

I AM A DOG LOVER!  I am all for this!  The City of Duluth already has two dog parks, one at Observation Hill and another at Keene's Creek.  Now, another is being proposed, but will there be room for it?

Ok, so many of you enjoyed the antics of my Schnauzer watching the Westminster competition I thought I'd share what happened this past weekend when I was putting clothes away in my closet.

My Schnauzer is usually a wild animal, always wanting to play, be in your lap or do whatever YOU'RE doing.  But I found the perfect way to keep him calm and intent and all it took was giving up the TV for the night!

Don't panic ladies, his new love has four legs, a tail and can run like the wind!  I'm a puppy lover so when I saw that Hunter had posted video of his new "bus dog" I had to share it with you!  He's lanky, lazy (in the video) and a love bug!

My daughter had sent me this video and normally I'm a puppy lover, but I was intrigued.  I teared up watching this video and my heart melted for the little guy. God Bless the family that took him in and spent time making sure he will lead a good life.

As I was reading about the ability to take great butt shots with a Belfie stick (who does that? Not Me!). I started to ponder, what do we all have that is near and dear to us and would want to share? OUR DOGS! Introducing the Delfie!

As the holidays draw near, we begin to think about end-of-the-year tasks that need to be completed (like getting info together to file for taxes)!  One thing we overlook is licensing our pets.
