Just last week my wife and I were taking a short walk to a nearby business when we needed to cross Belknap Street in Superior.  Wow, what a dangerous game of frogger that turned out to be.  I remember thinking that people must not know, or not care about the pedestrian right of way laws.  Well, apparently some other people have had this complaint, and the Superior Police department is making an increased effort to enforce this.

This weeks Property Crimes Wanted Person of the Week is Eugene Sandberg.  There are three warrants for his arrest: One is for 1st degree burglary, felony domestic assault, and false imprisonment; one is for trespassing; and one is for felony violation of an order for protection. There is also probable cause to arrest him for theft of a check and felony check forgery.

Timothy Urbanski, 49, of Superior was sentenced today for 10 years in prison resulting from charges for possession of child pornography.  After 10 years, the sentence includes a lifetime of supervised release.  Urbanski pleaded guilty to the charge on September 11, 2012, and learned his fate today in a Madison courtroom.
