Brad Paisley had a big night onstage in Nashville on Wednesday (June 17), not only opening for the legendary Rolling Stones, but joining them onstage for a song.

Paisley warmed up for the Stones at their concert at Nashville's LP Field, which was part of their ongoing Zip Code tour. Carrie Underwood joined him onstage during his set for "Remind Me," and Joe Walsh from the Eagles came out to jam with Paisley on one of his own hits.

Paisley then paid it forward by dropping in on the Stones' set for "Dead Flowers," which he previously played onstage with the group in Philadelphia in 2013. In a hilarious bit before the song, Paisley prompted Mick Jagger to try out his southern accent on the Music City crowd, saying, "Hi y'all," in an exaggerated twang.

Paisley seemed right at home joining one of the most legendary groups in music history live, ambling onstage in a Stones T-shirt and turning in a typically low-key performance that was highlighted by some killer guitar work. He sang harmony with Jagger on the first chorus before taking the second verse for himself, and then traded lead lines with Keith Richards and Ron Wood like he'd been playing with them for years.

Tim McGraw was also in the crowd for the once-in-a-lifetime gig.

Paisley tweeted after his performance to thank the group for inviting him.

Paisley recently lauded the Stones for their influence on country music. “I like to say they’re the No. 1 rock band in the world, and they’re in the Top 5 in country bands," he says.
