This is a great song to wake up to on a Saturday morning with B105's Solid Gold Saturday morning show, it'll have you B-boppin' out of bed dancing around the kitchen and put you in a good mood.  Dan Seals' song BOP is our Solid Gold Pick of the Week!

Remember the band Seals & Crofts?  Dan was the younger brother to Jim Seals, a member of Seals & Crofts.  He first fame was the "Dan" of "England Dan" half of the soft rock duo England Dan & John Ford Coley.  You probably remember their song "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight".

After they broke up he began a solo career in country music. One of my faves from him was the duet with Marie Osmond (where were you Donny?) entitled "Meet Me in Montana" which went number one, along with many others. Like BOP, which won CMA Award, Single of the Year in 1985!

Unfortunately Dan passed away from complications of the treatment of lymphoma cancer.  But, we still Bop to his song during the Solid Gold Saturday show, exclusive to B105!
